📖My Review📖

I don’t want to compare it to a typical romance with ultra rich man finds a beautiful down to earth woman, but it is very close. The only thing for me that made this story work was the wild emotional journey both Flora and Raffaele went through. Of course, like most romance, you get an awesome ending, but the road they took to get there— twisty, to say the least.

I have a few memorable moments in this novel, but my most favorite part was towards the end as Flora is being driven to the airport. I felt a couple of emotions, mostly anger for Flora as the car drives away… after everything the car drives away! Don’t worry, this is not the end because Raffaele isn’t having it. Definitely, my favorite part.

Although I liked both Flora and Raffaele in the story, I can’t say that either of them were my favorite character. I did like their journey, but I was interested to know more about Raffaele parents. Although they mainly featured as a backdrop of Raffaele intense feelings, his entire childhood captured my attention!

Bound by a Sicilian Secret is a short romance, coming in at only 13 chapters, but it sends readers on an exciting rollercoaster as Flora tries to convince Raffaele that they are meant to be together, while he fights her the entire journey. If angst is what you want, this novel will be a perfect read.

I tried to not talk about the plot too much so as not to give too much away. I liked Bound by a Sicilian Secret very much. It was angst, romance, and drama wrapped in 13 chapters. I hope the author is planning to write the story of Raffaele parents. I will be checking out her website to see if it’s in the works!

📖My Rating📖

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because, although I liked Flora and Raffaele, I wasn’t really in love with both of them. At one point, Flora irritated me greatly, but then the next chapter, I was over it and feeling sympathetic to her again. Like I said before, rollercoaster of emotions.

A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
